Criteria.
Due to a stricter municipal safety policy, the foundation is no longer permitted to host guest artists in the studio building at the Keileweg. So far, the foundation doesnot dispose of alternative external accomodation. Until further notice, guests are expected to find their own accomodation for their residency period. The foundation can serve as an intermadiary to find appropriate living space.

Applications can be submitted by professional visual artists only. |

Applications can be submitted all year around. Applications should preferably be submitted three months in advance. Written applications (incl. 20 slides or a cd-rom and a cirriculum vitae) should specify the applicants’ cultural activities as well as the period they want to apply for. |

On the applicants’special request, K&C may adapt accommodation or extend facilities. |

Tenancy agreements are (usually) concluded for periods ranging from a minimum of three months to a maximum of six months. |

Twenty-six K&C-artists work in the studio building. They all work independently. Visiting artists are expected to be equally independent and self-sufficient. |

Applicants should please note, that the spaces only have basic facilities and are not to be considered comfortable accommodations in wintertime (November-April). |

The foundation (usually) doesnot act as an intermediary between visiting artists and galleries or other cultural institutions. |

Selected guests are obliged to pay / transfer a bail of 150,00 Euro at least three months in advance. |
